Abrasion-Resistant Cast Irons
These alloys are made of martensitic matrix, whose main feature is its great resistance to wear, combined with moderate impacts. There is a wide range of chemical compositions that are thermally treated and produced under strictly controlled conditions during the process. Largely used in pump carcasses, wear plates, coatings, grinding coils, etc. The high percentage Cr alloys are specially recommended for applications that simultaneously have corrosion and abrasion attacks.
